After an era of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi finally uncovered the Mi Pad 5 series earlier this week. The lineup includes three models – Mi Pad 5, Pad 5 Pro, and Pad 5 Pro 5G. Unfortunately, the devices are only official in China so far.
But it seems that these tablets will soon step out of their home markets and will make their availability globally. This seems possible as the Mi Pad 5 series has been spotted at the Google Play Console listing and Google Supported Devices list.

In case you don’t know, Mi Pad 5 series does not come with Google Mobile Services (GMS) in China since it is banned there. Therefore, Xiaomi does not require Google Play Console certification for releasing its phone in China.
However, the Play Console listing does not guarantee the global release for these devices. We may come to know about this matter in the coming days or weeks.
