Xiaomi recently launched a new 100W wireless charger known as Mi 100W Wireless Charging Stand in China. This is an enhanced version of the Mi 80W Wireless charger that was launched in March this year.

The new 100W charging stand is almost similar to the older Mi 80W charging stand. One of the notable changes in their speed of charging. Of course, the new one is faster than the older one.

In addition, the safety layer and color of these two stands differ too. However, they look similar in terms of design. The phone that supports wireless charging can be placed vertically as well as horizontally to charge.
When talking about their color difference, the newer model comes in black color with a gold accent, at the same time, the older model has a white color paint output with a silver accent.
Moreover, the name of the device suggests itself that the new model has a maximum output of 100W but both of them use the same Mi 120W charger and a 6A USB cable, both are included in the box. The interesting thing is that none of the Xiaomi products can charge wirelessly at these rates.
Furthermore, the new charger has an additional protection layer of current calibration other than over-current protection, over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, foreign body detection, and electrostatic protection.
Similar to the old version, the new model also has a dual-coil design and a dynamic fan, which runs quietly when required. Since it uses Qi standard, it can be used to charge almost every product with wireless charging support.
To be mentioned, currently only Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi Mix 4 can use the Ultra Fast Wireless Charging Mode. These phones can charge wirelessly at their maximum supported rates of 67W and 50W.

The Xiaomi Mi 100W Wireless Charging Stand is priced at ¥599 ($92). It will go for its first sale in China on August 16 at 10 AM.
