Xiaomi has recently launched another smartphone from its Redmi Note 10 series, Redmi Note 10 JE. This is the eighth Redmi Note 10 series phone and is exclusively launched for Japan.
We cannot say that this is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G but it shares several specs with the phone. Also, it has the exact same design as Note 10 5G.

It seems that the tech has decided to focus on the IP68 waterproof feature of the phone. Maybe it’s an important feature in Japan.

Display
Redmi Note 10 JE has a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dot screen with 1200 x 1080 pixels resolution, a centered punch hole for the front camera, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The manufacturers added a feature called DynamicSwitch that automatically adjusts the refresh rate based on the content you are viewing. The phone can switch between 30Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz.
Processor
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset instead of a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
RAM/Storage
The device comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage. If needed, users can further expand the storage via a MicroSD card slot (up to 1TB).
Operating System
The Redmi Note 10 JE runs MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11.
Battery
It is backed with a smaller 4,800mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Camera
On the back, there’s a triple camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro camera. On the other side, it has an 8MP selfie shooter. For features, you get a macro video mode.
Connectivity
On the connectivity phase, the phone supports single SIM cards, 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BeiDou), USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is also compatible with FeliCa / Osaifu-Keitai contactless IC card technology.
Sensors
It has all the essential sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, infrared sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Availability:
The company only offers two colors of Note 10 JE – Graphic Gray and Chrome Silver. And, it does not ship with a charger. Anyways, it will be available for purchase from August 13 in Japan.
Price:
It will be sold exclusively by KDDI-owned ‘au’ and ‘UQ mobile’ carriers in Japan. The telecom company is yet to reveal the price of this smartphone.
