Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra getting new firmware update

Launched back in March this year, Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra are the latest high-end smartphones from the tech giant. The devices are manufactured with all of the latest and most advanced features, the Ultra model even has a rear screen, which makes it more unique and beautiful.

When we talk about their software, both of these runs Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS out of the box. However, the devices were two of those who received MIUI 12.5 in the first phase.

Right now, the devices are receiving a new firmware update, which can be identified via the build version V12.5.11.0.RKACNXM. As per the changelog, it optimizes system performance to enhance users’ experience.

It further improves system security as well as stability. Currently, the new update is only accessible for China ROM users. It may be rolled out on a wider platform in the coming days or weeks.

Anyways, to experience this update, users will have to download and install the package of 5.7GB on their smartphones. Since it weighs more than 1GB, it is recommended that use an unmetered connection or WiFi to download and install it.
