Xiaomi has begun sending the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi Note 9 smartphones in India. It should be mentioned that the update has been already rolled out for China and Global ROM users.
Anyways, the latest firmware for the device brings several new features, improvements, and July 2021 Android security patch. Unlike the Chinese ROM, the Indian MIUI 12.5 update brings limited features, if the changelog is an indication.
