Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Redmi Note 10 5G smartphones. This update mainly installs the July 2021 Android security patch for a better user experience.
As usual, the new firmware will save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve the security and stability of its system. However, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention but users may notice a few minor changes after updating their devices.

Anyways, when we talk about its software, it runs MIUI 12 on top of Android 11. However, Xiaomi is currently rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update for its eligible smartphones and several devices have received it, including the phones that are running on Android 10.
Thus, we can expect that MIUI 12.5 for Redmi Note 10 5G is just around the corner. As of now, you can identify the latest firmware via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.8.0.RKSCNXM. To experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 2.7GB on their handsets.
It should be mentioned that right now the current update is only accessible for China ROM users. It will be rolled out for other region users in the coming days or weeks.
