Xiaomi will introduce RedmiBook laptops in India on August 3

We have been hearing about the arrival of new Xiaomi laptops in India for a couple of weeks. Today, the tech giant officially announced that the Redmi laptops will make their debut in Indian markets on August 3, 2021.

The company said that it aims to expand its device portfolio in India and aims on launching products like power banks, earbuds, smart bands, and more, which would complement its smartphones and the users’ lifestyles.

Well, the new notebooks will be a part of its RedmiBook lineup and will expand the brand’s product offerings in the region. Previously, the company teased their arrival alongside Redmi Note 10T India launch.

Unluckily, right now, we don’t have any information on which model will the firm launch in India. This year, Xiaomi launched some laptops in China – RedmiBoo Pro 14 and Pro 15. These models are said to be introduced in India as RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Ultra 15.

RedmiBook Pro 14 and Ultra 15 Specifications (Expected):

Display –

As the name of the device itself mentions, the Mi Notebook Pro 14 will come with a 14-inch display that offers a 2.5K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. While the Notebook Ultra 15 will feature a 15.6-inch display with the support of a 3.2K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Processor –

Both the models will be available in Intel 11th generation Core i5 and i7 CPU editions with Xe graphics, up to 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage.

Software –

The devices will come preinstalled with Windows 10 Home, Microsoft Office Student edition, and MIUI+.

RedmiBook Pro

Battery –

In terms of battery capacity, the Pro 14 will be backed by a 56Wh battery that supports 65W charging and the Ultra 15 will come with a larger 70Wh battery that supports 100W charging.

Other features –

These Notebooks will equip an HD webcam, fingerprint scanner, backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, a USB-C port, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB-A 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Also, they have the support for 4W speakers with DTS Audio.
