Last month, Xiaomi’s sub-brand officially launched Redmi Note 10T smartphones in Russia. However, the phone is a rebranded version of Redmi Note 10 5G that was introduced in March, but it doesn’t support 5G networking.
Anyways, the phone is now getting its first software update in India. As per the changelog, the new firmware optimizes the system performance as well as improves system security and stability.

Moreover, the update carries the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.1.0.RKSRUXM, which can be downloaded and installed in 4.1GB of data. Since it weighs higher, it is recommended that download and install it using an unmetered connection or WiFi.
It should be mentioned that the latest MIUI 12.5 update for the phone is on its way. The other smartphones from the series have already been updated to the latest custom UX, except for the base model, Redmi Note 10.
