POCO mocks OnePlus on Twitter, says Nord 2 is an ordinary phone

Taking Twitter as a means, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has teased OnePlus, saying that the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 is an ordinary smartphone. Although the tech giant is promoting its Poco F3 GT.

Well, this isn’t the first time when one smartphone manufacturer is jamming another. We have seen many such cases in the past. The platforms have now become a source of teasing smartphone makers.

Anyways, coming to the topic, both Xiaomi and OnePlus are gearing up to introduce their Poco F3 GT and OnePlus Nord 2 smartphones in India in the same month, Thus, these phones will be the opponents and there’s nothing surprising when one of them or both start to tease each other.

In the tweet, Poco India stated that the F3 GT is “not your N-ordinary phone”, this is a clear hint at the Nord 2. Also, it used the promotional ad from OnePlus that states “pretty much everything you could ask for” and turned it into “pretty much everything you could ask for and more.”

If you don’t know, both the upcoming devices will be powered by Dimensity 1200 chip and it looks like Poco is clearly set to take on the OnePlus Nord 2 in the country. We can also expect similar pricing of the products.

Poco F3 GT:

We already knew that the Poco F3 GT will be the rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition, which was launched in China in April and is a successful model there.

Yesterday, Poco India revealed a shadow-like image of the said smartphone through a teaser video. It revealed the dual game shoulder buttons, identical to Redmi K40 GEE.

Besides, on the basis of the Chinese variant, the Poco F3 GT should have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5065mAh battery with a 66W fast charge support. In terms of software, it should run Android 11 based MIUI  12.5 out of the box.
