Launched back in January this year, Xiaomi Mi 10i runs Android 10 based MIUI 12 OS out of the box. Recently, it has received the Android 11 update, and now it is getting the latest MIUI 12.5 update in India.
The changelog for the update mentions a bunch of new functionalities, several changes, bug fixes, and the June 2021 Android security patch. Also, the new firmware will make your phone faster, lighter, and durable.

It brings a new UI design, which is focused on visualization and makes your interaction with the device more lifelike. The updated notes app adds compose mind maps with complex structures, new sketching tools, press and hold sketch function, gesture shortcuts, and more.
Moreover, with 20 times more rendering power, there are now few limits to what you can see on your screen. Response to gestures is now instant. With custom device model adjustments, any phone becomes faster after the upgrade.
Adding to these, it readjusted sensitive areas for the dots in the unlock pattern, optimizes the GPS icon in the status bar, and the UI for renaming fingerprints.
