Redmi India teases Redmi Note 10T 5G, launch could be near

Recently, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 10T smartphones in Russia. The device is a rebadged version of Redmi Note 10 5G but the Note 10T doesn’t support 5G connectivity.

Anyways, it seems that after Russia, the smartphone is making its way to Indian markets. Of course, with 5G connectivity. Redmi India has already started teasing the upcoming device, saying Mi Fans to stay tuned for a “Fast and Futuristic” smartphone.

As always, the officials haven’t said the name clearly but they have given a clue. And yes, we (Mi Fans) are so clever to get that. Through the Twitter post, Redmi India said “20 9 19 3 15 13 9 14 7”, which reads “T IS COMING” in English alphabets.

Anyways, the interesting thing is that Xiaomi had recently launched the Poco M3 Pro 5G in the country which already is very similar in specs to the Redmi Note 10 5G except for the distinct Poco design.

It looks like the tech believes that there is enough room for another variant with similar specs. Right now, there’s no hint on Redmi Note 10 5G’s launch date, it could be released on Amazon along with Xiaomi’s official websites.

Later in May, a reliable tipster has already revealed that Redmi Note 10T 5G will go official in India. They have spotted the phone on a recruitment post for Global ROM testers on Xiaomi’s official forum.

Redmi Note 10T specifications:

The Redmi Note 10 5G is the only member of the series that lacks an AMOLED screen and so the Note 10T 5G. However, it comes with a 6.5-inch 1080p LCD display that can refresh at 90Hz and as low as 30Hz when the content doesn’t need it.

It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor paired with 4GB/12GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Its camera setup includes a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP depth camera, and another 2MP macro camera. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.

Moreover, its battery capacity is 5,000mAh that only supports 18W fast charging, slower than the other Note 10 series models. In terms of software, It runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS, for India, it could come pre-installed with MIUI 12.5, as the Nore 10S entered with the same.
