Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for its latest high-end flagships – Mi 11 Pro and MI 11 Ultra. The new update mainly installs the Android security patch of last month, the May 2021 Android security patch.
This security update will save your device from bugs and viruses as well as will improve the security and stability of your device’s system. In addition, the changelog for the update also mentions the fix for the issue that notifications flash in some cases.

Besides, both of these smartphones were launched on March 29 at the mega product launch event. They come with today’s all of the latest and most advanced features. The Mi 11 Ultra even has a secondary screen on its back, which makes it look awesome.
When we talk about their software, they run Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS out of the box. However, recently, they have been updated to the latest MIUI 12.5 skin.
The current firmware for the devices holds the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.9.0.RKACNXM, which weighs 4.3GB. Since it is more than normal 1GB, we recommend that use an unmetered connection of WiFi to download and install it.
It should be mentioned that the current firmware is only available for China ROM users. It may extend to other region users in the coming days or weeks.
