Xiaomi is expanding the Android 11 update alongside May 2021 security patch for Redmi Note 9S smartphones in Turkey. The update can be identified via build version V12.0.2.0.RJWTRXM.

Xiaomi is currently working on providing MIUI 12.5 updates to its newer smartphones worldwide. At the same time, the OEM is also proving Android 11 updates to its eligible smartphones.
In the recent development, the update has been sent to Redmi Note 9S in Europe. The phone was launched earlier in 2020. It came with some of the latest and premium features of its age including Android 10 based MIUI 12 OS.
However, the global ROM of the device was updated to Android 11 earlier and will soon be updated to the latest MIUI 12.5. Anyways, the new update can be identified via the build version V12.0.2.0.RJWEUXM.
When we talk about its changelog, it doesn’t mention any major changes but the May 2021 Android security patch which will increase the security and stability of your device’s system. It will also save your device from bugs and viruses.
The update log further mentions that location info can be now reported automatically before the device is powered off. Users may notice more features after updating their smartphones.
