Xiaomi is currently working on providing Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 updates to its eligible smartphones. In the meantime, the company is also rolling out the monthly security patches.
It’s June and like other OEMs, Xiaomi has also started sending the June 2021 Android security patches to its phones. So far, only a couple of devices have received the update, while Xiaomi Mi 11 is the latest to grab it.

We all are now familiar with Mi 11, launched back in December 2020, it was the world’s first Snapdragon 888 powered phone. It came pre-installed with the latest Android 11 OS and has recently been updated to MIUI 12.5.
Moreover, as usual, the security update will save Mi 11 from bugs and viruses and will improve the security of its system. The changelog for the update also mentions that the problem – Knuckle double-tap stopped working after Game Booster had been turned off has also been fixed.
Besides, the new firmware for the flagship can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.9.0.RKBCNXM. To experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 4.2GB on their smartphones.
Besides, right now, the update is only accessible for Mi 11 China ROM. It may be rolled out for other region users in the coming days/weeks. Below mentioned is the complete changelog for the update.
