Alleged Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (Global) running Android 12 appears on Geekbench

Back in March this year, Xiaomi officially launched Mi 11 Ultra smartphones in China and global markets. The phone has also been launched in India, however, due to Covid 19 pandemic, it hasn’t gone on sale there.

Anyways, we know that the Mi 11 Ultra runs Android 11 OS out of the box whereas the global variant of the phone has now appeared on the Geekbench V5.4.1 benchmarking platform with Android 12 OS.

It doesn’t give a hint that Xiaomi is again launching the device, it is likely that the phone is running on the Android 12 beta version as the stable update hasn’t out yet. Following the first Android 12 beta release for Google Pixels, Xiaomi also announced it for Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11i.

Android 12 –

The Android 12 has two major upgrades – ‘appearance’ and ‘security and privacy protection’. Android 12 adopts the new Material You design language, which can match the colour combination according to the colour you choose.

It can also use a custom wallpaper to choose a more beautiful and harmonious colour combination for you. This then becomes the theme colour of Android 12. In terms of privacy protection, it provides a brand new privacy dashboard.

It has a single perspective, which allows the user to see all his permission settings, as well as which data is being accessed. The dashboard will also show the frequency of access and the applications that have used it. Users can easily revoke application permissions on this privacy dashboard.
