Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Poco X2 smartphones, which installs the May 2021 Android security patch for better system security. The official changelog for the update also mentions minor UI changes in Gallery, Cleaner, and Camera app.
However, what changes the company made haven’t shown in the changelog. You may have known that Poco X2 users in India have been complaining of rear camera problems for quite some time.

Poco India even responded to the users’ reports and had provided an easy fix for the issues. We believe that the problems may have been fixed in the update.
Anyways, the new firmware for Poco X2 comes with the Android 11 based MIUI 12 build version V12.1.5.0.RGHINXM. Users can download and install the package of 2.7GB on their phones to experience the changes.
Besides, the current update for the phone is based on MIUI 12 OS but Poco X2 is eligible to run MIUI 12.5. Recently, the OEM has finished proving the update to its newer smartphones, and now it’s turn for the other ones.
