Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Mi 9T Pro smartphones globally. The update mainly installs the May 2021 Android security patch for better system security and stability.
It will also save your device from bugs and viruses so that you can use your phone with no worries. Despite this, the official changelog for the update doesn’t mention any major changes or new features.

The May 2021 Android security patch for Mi 9T Pro can be identified via the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.6.0.QFKMIXM and weighs 3.0. Since it is more than 1GB, we recommend, use an unmetered connection or WiFi to download and install it.
