In February this year, the smartphone got last year’s Android 11 while in March its custom skin has been updated to MIUI 12.5. Also, it is the first Xiaomi device to have the taste of stable MIUI 12.5.

Coming back to this topic, the new firmware will save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve the security of its system. Adding to this, after you update your handset, location info can be reported automatically before the device is power off.

Moreover, it carries the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version V12.5.3.0.RJJCNXM, which can be downloaded and installed in 4.1GB of data. Since it is more than 1GB, it should be download using an unmetered connection or WiFi.
