Kernel sources for Xiaomi Mi A3 and Redmi Note 8 are now available

Yesterday, Xiaomi released the Kernel Source codes for Redmi Note 8 and Mi A3 smartphones. The smartphones were launched in August 2019 and July 2019 respectively.

They both entered the smartphone market with latest software of their age and has been update to the new one as it entered the market. Currently, both of the smartphones are running on MIUI 12 on the top of Android 11 OS.

Anyways, if you don’t know, Kernel Source Codes are a vital component of Android custom ROM or kernel development. They are a part of a system that handles the hardware, allocates resources like memory pages and CPU cycles.

They allows developers to build stable custom ROMs, kernels, and more. Usually, they are the one who is responsible for the file system and network communication.
