Xiaomi is expanding the May 2021 security update for Redmi Note 10S smartphones for Global ROMs. The update can be identified via the Build version V12.5.10.0.RKLMIXM.

Last month, Xiaomi started rolling out the May 2021 Android security patch for its eligible Mi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones. Several devices such as Poco X3 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 11i, Redmi 9C, Redmi 9A, and more have already received the update while some are about to.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 10S is the latest phone to receive it. The smartphone was launched globally in March this year. It came pre-installed with Android 11 based MIUI latest it received MIUI 12.5. While in India it runs MIUI 12.5 out of the box.

Moreover, the May security update will save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve the security of your device’s system. Users can easily identify the update via build version V12.5.7.0.RKLEUXM.
As mentioned in the updated version “EU”, it is only accessible for European ROM users, while it will be soon rolled out for other users in the coming days.
Also, to experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 2.6GB on their smartphones. Since it weighs more than 1GB, we suggest, download and install it by using an unmetered connection or WiFi.
