Redmi 9 is one of the most famous smartphones among all Redmi phones there. It entered the markets with pre-installed Android 10 based MIUI 11 OS. And now, after almost a year of its launch, the tech giant is proving an Android 11 update for it.

When we talk about its changelog, it doesn’t mention a lot about the update, it mentions May 2021 Android security, which will help in increasing the security of your device’s system and will save it from bugs and viruses.
It further claims that location info can be now reported automatically before the device is powered off and the GPS toggle is renamed as “Location”.
