Redmi AirDots 3 Pro with Active Noise Cancellation launched

This afternoon, alongside, Redmi Note 10 5G series and RedmiBook Pro Ryzen edition, Xiaomi also launched new earbuds, AirDots 3 Pro in China. These the first true wireless earphones from the Redmi brand that supports Active Noise Cancellation.

While labeled as budget pair of earphones, the AirDots 3 Pro brings active noise cancellation, wireless charging, and a low latency mode which are all features you’d normally have to pay a premium for.

Moreover, the AirDots 3 Pro pack 9mm drivers and 3 microphones for optimal voice pickup and noise cancellation. According to the officials, the wearables support 35d noise reduction and offer ultra-low latency of 69ms, which is a great addition as it helps in online mobile gaming.

It should be mentioned that Pairing over Bluetooth 5.2, the device can also be connected to two smartphones at the same time, which makes it capable of switching between different handsets seamlessly.

The headset packs a 35mAh battery which should be good for 6 hours of playback on the earphones alone (3 hours if you’re using ANC) while the charging case brings a 470mAh cell for a total of 28 hours of usage.

The charging case has a USB Type C port on the bottom for a quicker charge. It supports Qi wireless charging as well. When we talk about its design, it looks similar to Redmi’s previous stalk-less buds, along with an oval charging case that’s more in line with the Pixel Buds case.

Lastly, AirDots 3 Pro is priced at 349 Yuan (around 55 US Dollars). Although, the company is offering the new truly wireless earphones for a discounted initial price of just 299 Yuan (around 47 US Dollars. The earphones will officially go on sale from June 11.
