Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Poco M2 Pro smartphones in India. The new firmware mainly installs the May 2021 Android security patch for better user experience enhancement.
As the name mentions, it will save your phone from bugs and viruses and will increase the security of your device’s system. Adding to this, it brings a new function – location info can be now reported automatically before the device is powered off.

Moreover, Poco M2 Pro users can identify the latest update via the Android 10 based MIUI 12 build version V12.0.4.0.QJPINXM. To experience the May 2021 update, users will have to download and install the package of 2.5GB on their respective smartphones. Since the update weighs more than 1GB, we suggest, use an unmetered connection or WiFi.
