Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro to soon debut as Mi Wireless Earphones globally

After the high demand for TWS earbuds in the past few years, yesterday, Xiaomi officially launched the first flagship noise reduction headset, Flipbuds Pro in China. These buds define themselves with a high-gloss all-black body that gets a mirror finish.

Now its seems that the tech giant has different plans for the international market. Apparently, Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro that was launched last year in China is now going to be launched globally under the name Xiaomi Mi Wireless Earphones.

A well-known tipster Mukul Shama has revealed that these wireless headphones under the model number TWSEJ10WM visit Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) ahead of the launch.

Moreover, the certification image that he shared on his Twitter account shows that Xiaomi Mi Wireless Earphones, characterized by their active noise cancellation system, were certified yesterday. The listing also exposes their 1.5W wireless charging system.

At present, we don’t know its release date but all the clues indicated its imminent launch. Also, the country where they are going to be debuted has not revealed yet. It could be Europe or the other countries where Xiaomi already has a good presence.

If you don’t know, Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro or Xiaomi Mi Wireless Earphones features noise cancellation up to 35dB and up to 28 hours of music playback with the charging case. Moreover, these buds use ceramic touch keys. You can make calls, switch noise reduction modes, play/pause audio, and wake up Xiao Ai by tapping or long-pressing the ceramic back cover of the headset.

The setting interface shows that the LHDC mode of the product provides a high-quality audio experience, and the low-latency mode provides a low-latency experience in the synchronization of the game audio and video.

In terms of configuration, the company claims that the earbuds last for about seven hours at one stretch with ANC turned off. They support wireless charging and can take about one hour to fully charge through wired charging.

The operating distance is listed to be at 10 meters, and they are said to support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Adding to this, Xiaomi Air 2 Pro also equip an infrared sensor and supports wideband active noise reduction.
