Unable to find Second space mode on your Redmi Note 10? Here’s how to get it back

Back in March this year, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi officially launched the 10th iteration of its Note series, the Redmi Note 10 series in Indian and global markets. The whole lineup offers some of the amazing internals at a budget-friendly price.

Meanwhile, as per as user’s report, a useful feature known as Second Space is missing in Redmi Note 10. Usually, Second Space found under the “Special Feature” option in settings of a device running on MIUI 12. But this not the case with Note 10, even the feature is not available in any settings option.

What is Second Space –

Anyone who owns an MIUI running phone is the admin or the owner of the First space. As the name suggests, the Second space creates a new, fresh space on your phone without taking any data from the First space.

However, you can import data from First space using the built-in option to move data. When you create a Second space, the phone will look like you just took it out of the box or reset it for only the pre-installed apps will be available to you.

  1. To access it, disable MIUI optimization
  2. To do that, go to the Developers options
  3. Scroll to the bottom
  4. Find a toggle “Turn on MIUI optimization”
  5. Turn off the switch
  • Go back to the Settings home page where you will now see an option that reads “Multiple users”
  • Create a new profile and use it as your second space
