POCO M3 Pro 5G will feature 6.5” FHD+ DotDisplay and Dimensity 700 SoC

Just a couple of days ago, Poco has announced that the Poco M3 Pro 5G smartphones will be launched on May 19. Now the tech giant has confirmed that a few specifications of the smartphone.

According to Poco Global, the upcoming phone will sport a 90Hz 6.5” FHD+ DotDisplay with a DynamicSwitch that offers a more flexible viewing experience. The officials further reveal that it will come with a MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 SoC.

Besides, previously, we have been reported that Poco M3 Pro 5G will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 10 5G that was launched globally in early March. However, the company hasn’t yet accepted it but this new information about the device makes us more clear as the Note 10 5G already has these internals.

On the other hand, an Indian tipster, Ishan Agrawal has shared renders of the Poco M3 Pro 5G. The images look similar to Redmi Note 10 5G in addition to Poco branding just below the camera module. The image further shows three color variants of the smartphone – Black, Blue, Yellow.

POCO M3 PRO 5G SPECIFICATIONS (BASED ON REDMI NOTE 10 5G):

We have been already confirmed the display and processor, while in terms of software, it will come with Android 11. However, when we talk about its MIUI version, Redmi Note 10 5G came with MIUI 12 but just recently, Redmi Note 10S launched in India with MIUI 12.5. Thus, we can expect the same MIUI version from Poco M3 Pro 5G.

Furthermore, its camera setup could include a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP depth camera, and another 2MP macro camera. On the front, it could have an 8MP selfie camera. Lastly, its battery capacity could be 5,000mAh that may only support 18W fast charging.
