A few days ago, we have has a report claiming that MIUI 13 will be officially released on June 25, at least in its home country. The report also alleged that the new MIUI will be available for models such as the Mi 9 series, Mi 10 series, Mi MIX FOLD, and others.
But as per the new information by Wang Hua, the Public Relations Department of Xiaomi Group, the MIUI 13 update will not launch on June 25th. He said that the company has not yet decided the date.
He further said that he would not blame anyone who believed in the report because the editors were quite confident. They had teasers that appeared official with so much technicality.
In regards, some old reports say that unlike old versions of MIUI that are based on at least two Android versions, MIUI 13 will only be based on Google’s upcoming Android 12 operating system. And, Android 12 will be released somewhere in September this year, therefore, we can expect that MIUI 13 will also launch in September or October.
Besides, right now, Xiaomi is rolling out the stable MIUI 12.5 updates for its new eligible smartphones in china. However, the company has previously confirmed that old Xiaomi phones, such as Mi Mix 3, Mi Mix 2S, Mi 8 series, and more will also get the taste of new-gen MIUI.
We all know that some of the leading Xiaomi markets such as India are still waiting for MIUI 12.5 release. But they will not have to wait for long as the new MIUI 12.5 will debut in the country on May 13. However, the company is yet to confirm the launch date while all the hints and clues reveal the same.
