Last year, on December 28, Xiaomi officially released the new version of its Android-based custom skin, MIUI 12.5 in China. Soon after the release, the OEM has begun sending the MIUI 12.5 beta updates to its eligible smartphones and started the stable release later the last month.
Several Redmi and Mi smartphones have already got the update while many are about to. Meanwhile, in February, the company introduced this new version of MIUI in global markets too. However, the tech giant hasn’t started its stable release neither said anything about its rollouts.

Moreover, some regions such as India are still waiting for its launch. Earlier this month, in reply to one of the comments on Twitter, Manu Kumar Jain, the CEO of Xiaomi India said that the MIUI 12.5 will soon arrive in India.
Now it seems that the new-gen MIUI is not far from India. Today, Redmi India has teased the arrival of the Redmi Note 10S smartphone, the teaser hints that the phone will enter with MIUI 12.5. Although it is said that the phone will debut somewhere next month (May).
It means that the MIUI 12.5 will also enter India in May. However, we cannot say whether it will be introduced with Redmi Note 10S or before it. Let’s wait for more details that may appear in the coming days/weeks.

MIUI 12.5 features:
