Poco M2 Reloaded will launch in India on April 21

Back in September 2020, Xiaomi launched POCO M2 as a rebadged Redmi 9 Prime smartphone in India. The phone gained huge success and sold over 1 million units since its launch.

Now POCO India has officially announced a new version of the phone that will be sold as the POCO M2 Reloaded in the country. The company declared that it will be launched on April 21. Moreover, it will be introduced at 12 PM and will go on sale on Flipkart at 3 PM on the same day.

You must be wondering what’s new will come with the upcoming POCO M2. So the POCO M2 Reloaded is just a new variant with a different configuration from the original.

Unlike the POCO M2 which is available in two configurations – 6GB RAM + 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, the POCO M2 Reloaded will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. However, the rest of the specifications are the same.


It will display a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. There will be a MediaTek Helio G80 processor under the hood and a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

The device will further feature a 13MP main rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. And, on the front, it will have an 8MP camera for selfies.

Moreover, the Poco M2 reloaded will have a 5000mAh battery capacity with 18W fast charging support, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, an audio jack, dual-SIM support, water-repellent coating. Lastly, in terms of software, it will run Android 10 based MIUI 12 out of the box.
