Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Mi 11 Lite 4G smartphones globally. Adding to the April security patch, the new update installs a bunch of changes, new features, and optimizations.
As per the official changelog, it adds a new control center function, Swipe down from the upper left corner to open the Notification shade and from the upper right corner to open the Control center.
It further adds an option that allows you to restrict opening the Control center while on the Lock screen and another option to switch between connected devices in the notification about media playback.

It fixes some issues such as – the control center wasn’t displayed correctly in some cases and the call time bubble overlapped with notification icons. Also, the full-screen gestures are now ignored on the Lock screen alarm page.
Furthermore, it brings animations for the automatic night mode, a new set of filters (BBP, Mystery, Lime, Tango, Fantasy, Slumber, Carmen, Summer), and new modes for recording video and time-lapse photography.
Aside from this, the new firmware can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 built version V12.0.8.0.RKQMIXM. And, to experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 2.8GB on their smartphones.
