Redmi’s first gaming phone’s hefty 67W fast charging support confirmed by 3C

Xiaomi is all set to launch its first Redmi gaming smartphone by the end of this month. As of now, we don’t have any specific date for its launch, also, the name of the phone hasn’t been suggested yet.

Moreover, we have been hearing several news and leaks about the device. Recently, the company has confirmed that partnered with the famous game “Call of Duty”, the Redmi gaming phone will run Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system.

Now the upcoming smartphone has appeared on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) database. As per the listing, the phone with model number M2104K10C supports a maximum of 67W fast charging.

However, 67W fast-changing isn’t new to Xiaomi, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra launched with 67W wired + wireless fast change support. Whereas judging the device as a gaming phone, it would likely be a wired charging. 

Aside from this, we already know that the new product will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Also, it will have e-sports design elements, various game-oriented details, and functions.

Adding to this, it is also compatible with mainstream games Carried out joint optimization. On the other hand, some leaks suggest, the phone may equip a 5000mAh battery, a Samsung E4 material AMOLED screen, a side fingerprint recognition solution, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, it is said to have a game shoulder button similar to the Black Shark phones. For global markets, the device may arrive under the POCO brand much like how the Redmi K40 is sold as the POCO F3 outside China.

When we talk about the price of the smartphone, it may start with ¥2000 (~$305). Aside from this, there is still a lot we do not know about the phone. We believe that more details should surface early as its release date draws closer.
