Poco X3 exploded, company says external force is the reason

Back in September last year, Xiaomi unveiled POCO X3 smartphone at a virtual global launch event. It offers a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, quad-camera, Snapdragon 732, a massive 5160mAh battery, and more.

Meanwhile, following the new information, this device caught fire while charging. The owner of the smartphone said that he purchased it in December last year. Since then he didn’t notice any signs that it might have problems.

But unexpectedly, on April 13, it caught fire. The battery exploded, injuring the back cover and shattering the glass on the front. However, we got to know about the story when the victim uploaded this on his Twitter handle.

It remains a question that who is responsible for the incident? Is the owner here was careless while charging the phone or the company didn’t manufacture it correctly? There are many questions about that.

Right Now, we can only say that the company should have some extra effort and takes care of the build quality of its smartphones. As well as the users should also beware of it and take the required measures while charging.

Aside from this, the brand Poco finally commented on the situation today. They said the company is investigating the cause of the incident. According to the initial finding, the damage was caused by an “external force”.

Although the owner of the burnt-out Poco X3 completely denies the fact of external influences and is convinced that the fire occurred due to problems in controlling the temperature level during charging.
