Launched later the last month, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite appears with several new internals such as the Android 11 based MIUI 12 operating system. The smartphone comes in two networking variants – 4G and 5G.
Meanwhile, the 4G variant is now receiving a new software update which mainly installs the February 2021 Android security patch. However, it’s April, and the device should get at least March 2021 security update.

Anyways, as per the official changelog, the new firmware improves system performance for users’ experience enhancement. It also mentions the fix for the issue that fingerprints couldn’t be recorded in some cases and Wi-Fi connection drained battery in some cases.

The latest firmware for Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.5.0.RKQMIXM and users will need 4.6GB to install it on their smartphones.
