Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is official with 120x zoom camera, E4 AMOLED display, 5000mAh battery and more

On March 29, Xiaomi has officially launched the Mi 11 Ultra smartphones in China in a mega product launch event. Judging by the looks, the new Mi 11 looks very unique and amazing.

As we can see, the camera modules in modern smartphones are getting bigger and bigger and the Mi 11 Ultra has taken things to the next level as it has a big camera module with its own screen.

Moreover, ahead of the launch, the company announced that Xiaomi has focused more on cameras in Mi 11 Ultra. And, as the company said, the new smartphone features Samsung’s new ISOCELL GN2 sensors behind its 50-MP primary camera.

Display:

The Mi 11 Ultra displays a 6.8-inch (3200×1440 pixels) E4 AMOLED screen QHD+ resolution. You also have Gorilla Glass Victus protection as well as Dolby Vision support.

Smoother performance – 

With a 144Hz refresh rate, users can experience the scrolling even smoother.

Screen Brightness – 

The phone offers 1700 nits brightness. Users can now continue to watch and scroll through social media posts even when outdoors.

MEMC – 

When the MEMC, the intelligent motion compensation technology comes to smartphones, one major feature that is compared across brands is the camera performance.

Processor:

The Mi 11 Ultra comes with Snapdragon 888 with LPDDR5 RAM 6400Mbps and UFS 3.1.

Software:

The products come pre-installed with the most latest Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system.

Storage:

The handset offers three storage variants –

  • 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage
  • 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage
  • 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage

Battery:

The smartphone is pre-packed with a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging, 67W wireless fast charging, and 10W reverse charging.

Camera:

Rear Camera – 

The Mi Ultra is equipped with a 50MP rear camera with a Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor. On the other side, it has a 48MP 128° ultra-wide-angle lens with a Sony IMX586 sensor and a 48MP telephoto camera also with a Sony IMX586 sensor.

Front Camera – 

On the front, it has a 20MP selfie camera for selfies and video chats.

Sensors:

It features an in-screen fingerprint sensor with heart rate monitoring, Infrared sensor.

 Audio:

The device has a USB Type-C audio, Hi-Res audio, Dual speakers, and sound by Harman Kardon.

Connectivity:

The device supports 5G connectivity. Also, it can be connected to Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, USB Type-C.

Availability:

The Mi 11 Ultra comes in Black, White, and Marble white colors with a ceramic finish. All the RAM variants will go on sale from April 2 in the country. However, there’s no word on global launch.

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM version – 5999 yuan ($914)
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM version-  6499 yuan ($990)
  • 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM version –  6999 yuan ($1065).
