Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G will be the first to use Snapdragon 780 processor

Just recently, we have been confirmed that Xiaomi will be Launching Mi 11 Lite/Youth Edition at the mega product launch event on March 29. Ahead of the launch, we have witnessed several leaks, rumors, renders, and live images of it.

Meanwhile, Lei Jun itself has now confirmed that the Mi 11 Youth Edition will be the first smartphone to equip Snapdragon 780G processor. He also mentioned that this chipset flaunts the same technology and architecture as the Snapdragon 888.

Aside from this, previously, the device has appeared at several certification databases such as TENAA, 3C, IMDA, SIRIM, and more. Among them, the TENAA listing reveals some images of the smartphone, which shows the side, back, and front view of it.

The pictures of the phone look very similar to the base model, Xiaomi Mi 11. Now, other than the design of the phone, some old reports suggest that the Lite version will display a 6.55 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Coming to the camera configuration, the Mi 11 Lite will feature a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary, an 8MP super wide, and a 5MP macro camera. However, we do not have any information about the front camera yet.

Moving forward, the device is said to feature a 4250mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. And in terms of software, it will run the latest Android 11 based MIUI1 2 operating system out of the box. Its other features comprise – a microSD card slot, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual SIM support.

Other than this, the 6GB + 128GB variant has already exposed while it is further expected to offer a 6GB + 64GB storage variant. Also, Xiaomi is said to offer three color variants – Black, Blue, and Pink.
