Earlier the last month, Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi has confirmed that Mi MIX 4 will be introduced this year. Meanwhile, the company has now announced that the new Mi MIX will be launched on March 29.
You may have remembered that when the first generation of Mi MIX released in 2016, the full scene design with almost no bezels brought a full surprise to users. While stunning, the emergence of the first-generation MIX also promoted the exploration of the future of mobile phone brands.

Since then, Xiaomi MIX has carried the banner of the “explorer” of Xiaomi mobile phones and has become the guide of Xiaomi phones. However, the problem is that after Mi MIX 3, the MIX series disappeared. But now, the company has confirmed that Mi MIX 4 is coming.
Besides, right now we do not have any of the official detail about smartphones. Whereas previous reports claim that it will have an in-screen front camera and mmWave 5G.
The report also reveals that the product will feature an AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, it could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Coming to the camera sensors, it could be equipped with a Sony IMX766 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Also, It may offer features like 120x hybrid zoom, 15x video zoom, 1920fps slow-motion video shooting, and support for 8K video.
On the other hand, later the last year, we have been confirmed that Xiaomi will launch three new foldable smartphones this year. The first will be out-folding, the second will be in-folding and the third will be clamshell.
While a report explains that one of those folding smartphones will be Mi MIX 4 Pro MAX. In regards, recently we have been reported that the display for the folding screen will be supplied by China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT), the display subsidiary of TCL.
