Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra launch scheduled for March 29

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has just launched its two new smartphones – Poco X3 Pro, and Poco F3 globally. The phones are budget-friendly as well as value-driven. The handsets are powered by different Snapdragon processors and run Android 11 based MIUI 12 out of the box.

Moving forward, a couple of days ago, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will be hosting new Xiaomi smartphones on March 29. However, the company hasn’t disclosed what products it will be launching at the event.

Meanwhile, following the new information, Xiaomi has now revealed that it will introduce a couple of variants of the Mi 11 flagship smartphone that are Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra. Alongside this, the company will also launch a few more products, which are said to me Mi Smart Band 6 and Mi Pad 5.

Furthermore, in the teaser poster, the company has also showcased the packing box of Mi 11 Pro. And, said that there is no charger in the retail box. On the other side, introducing the Mi 11 Pro, Xiaomi called it a “thin and lightweight” smartphone “Android King.”

Besides, in December 2020 when Xiaomi launched the original Mi 11, the company decided not to send a charger in some retail boxes. While other boxes had the charger and the ‘with charger variant of Mi 11’ was also priced same. Now it seems that Xiaomi will follow the same with its upcoming phones.

Coming to the previous practices, we have been reported that these phones will have some similar features and internals. They both are expected to come with a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charge support.

Some leaked renders of the devices show that Mi 11 Pro will have a quad-camera setup whereas the Ultra model will be equipped with a triple camera module. Also, both the products will come pre-packed with the Android 11 operating system.
