Xiaomi has begun sending a new software update for Redmi Note 9T smartphones which mainly installs the February 2021 Android security patch. This security update will prevent your device from unnecessary bugs as well as improves system security.
Previously, the device received the January 2021 Android security patch. Adding to improve system security, the update also fixed the issue that incorrect app data stats were shown on the storage page.

However, the latest firmware is based on Android 10 but the Note 9T is eligible for an Android 11 update. Hence, it will soon receive a major software update.
Moreover, the new software holds the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.7.0.QJEEUXM, which can be downloaded in 2.3GB.
