There’s always a closed beta testing before the general public starts getting a major update. The MIUI 12.5 is not different and the company has now started MIUI 12.5 Global stable beta recruitment.
Just recently, we have seen that Xiaomi issues the second batch device list for MIUI Global beta testers recruitment. The list includes several smartphones, from Redmi Note 8 series to the just-released Redmi Note 10 series and from Mi 9 series to the latest Mi 11.

How to check for the MIUI ROM version
Go to “Settings > About phone” to check the version. The character displays：
“MI” means Global Version-11.X.X.X(***MI**)
“IN” means Indian Version-11.X.X.X(***IN**)
“EU” means Europe Version-11.X.X.X(***EU**)
“RU” means Russian Version-11.X.X.X(***RU**)
“ID” means Indonesian Version-11.X.X.X(***ID**)
