New update for Poco M2 Pro brings February 2021 security patch

As we know that Xiaomi is currently working on rolling out the Android 11 update for its eligible Redmi, Mi, Poco, and Black Shark devices. Several Xiaomi devices have already received it while some are yet to.

In the meantime, the company is also providing monthly security patches to its devices. It’s February and earlier this month, the Chinese OEM has started rolling out the February 2021 Android security updates for its devices.

Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is the first smartphone to receive the February update, however, Redmi Note 9 Pro 4G, Redmi 9, and more devices have also received the update. Moreover, this time, the company has kicked off the update for Poco M2 Pro smartphones in India.

Xiaomi released the Poco M2 Pro smartphones a few months ago. Since it is a modern smartphone, it comes with some new and advanced features. Its specs include a quad rear camera setup, huge memory, a long-lasting battery, and an Octa-core processor.

For now, the device is receiving the Android 10 based MIUI 12 updated version V12.0.3.0.QJPINXM. And, to experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 2.5GB.
