Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition gets Android 11 update alongside January 2021 security patch

The Chinese OEM is currently manufacturing the new version of its custom skin MIUI 13. In addition, the company is also providing Android 11 as well as MIUI 12.5 updates for its several Redmi, Mi, Poco, and Black Shark devices.

Meanwhile now, Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, which carries Android 11. The latest update is identified via the MIUI 12 updated version 12.1.1.0.RJJCNXM.

The official changelog for the update doesn’t mention any feature or changes, but as Android 11 is a major update, you can see the changes in your smartphone. Moreover, the update also installs the January 2021 Android security patch to increase your system’s security.

Also, it is said that this time the update boot loading time is relatively long. Performance and power consumption issues such as micro heat, micro card, etc. may occur in a short time after the upgrade.
