Back in 2020, Xiaomi launched the Mi Watch alongside Mi 10T series. This smartwatch is basically the rebranding of Xiaomi Watch Color Sports Edition. Meanwhile now, the Mi watch is receiving the firmware update.
The new update brings several interesting and essential features. It continuously improves and fixes the problems which users have feedback to give a level up user experience.

Moreover, as per the official changelog, this new update adds Amazon Alexa voice assistant support. But unfortunately, it is only available in select regions and the changelog does not mention them. Hence, you will have to check for yourself if your smartwatch is supporting it or not.
Furthermore, the new firmware brings camera shutter control and two new standby watch faces. However, it is worth noting that the changelog mentions the camera shutter feature to be experimental and therefore, it may be buggy on some smartphones.
Adding to this, the latest update also adds an option to turn on and off auto-pause in workout modes, in addition to bringing bug fixes and optimizations for faster waker up.

How to update:
You can update to the latest version of the Xiaomi Wear app available on the Google Play Store, open the application, and tap on ‘Update’ when prompted.
Note: If you haven’t received the update yet then it could be possible that it is being rolled out in batches. But as soon as it’s available, there should be an automatic prompt on the Xiaomi Wear app to install the same.
