Earlier this morning, Lu Weibing took the Chinese social networking site, Weibo to announce this. According to his post, the Chinese tech giant will be focusing more on bringing a wider range of smart home products to the market, especially in its home country of China.

However, the company already has a various range of smart home products in the market but it seems like Xiaomi aims to further expand its IoT (internet of things) portfolio this year.

As of now, the company is preparing to launch the Redmi K40 series on February 25. It is also said that the next smartphone from Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro will be uncovered soon after the launch of the Redmi K40 lineup.
Adding to this, today, Redmi India has also announced that the Redmi Note 10 series, which is said to include four models will be introducing on March 4.
