Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 to adopt under-display camera technology

Lei Jun, in the recent meeting with Mi fans, revealed that Mi MIX 4, the company’s upcoming flagship will be launched this year. Adding to this, Xiaomi also announced the launch of the tablet alongside the Mi MIX 4.

As of now, several leaks and rumors about the product are surfing online. One of them reveals that the upcoming device will feature the leading display design.

It will have a full-screen design without any notch. If the information is correct then this could be among the first smartphones to come with an under-screen camera design.

On the other hand, ZTE is the only brand that has launched a smartphone with under-display camera technology. It had launched the Axon 20 5G last year and is now going to uncover the Axon 30.

Well, this is not the first time we are hearing about Xiaomi’s under-display camera technology. Xiaomi had earlier teased the under-display camera technology using a prototype device.

Also, in September last year, it was reported that the company’s under-display cameras made by TCL CSOT could arrive in 2021.

Moreover, it is also reported that Mi Mix 4 could feature the quad-curved waterfall display with 88-degree curves. However, there’s no official confirmation, we can expect more news and leaks in the coming days/weeks. Till then stay tuned with us.
