Xiaomi will launch three flagship phones with Snapdragon 8-series processors: Tipster

Back in late December 2020, Xiaomi officially uncovered Mi 11, the flagship for 2021. The smartphone arrived with several new internals and becomes the first to be powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset.

As we know, Xiaomi is preparing to release its second flagship – Mi 11 Pro. However there no official confirmation, but it is rumored to be released this month.

Meanwhile, the new report claims that the company is working on the third flagship of the year. The tipster says the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8-series chipset.

While it is still unclear whether the device will be from Mi 11 series or Redmi K40 series. Also, he has not revealed which chip from Snapdragon 8 series will be used. It is possible that it may come equipped with Snapdragon 870 SoC.

Moreover, in the comment section of the post, he said, instead of a waterfall curved display, the screens of the three phones have a slight curvature. He also claims that the high-end version in the series will feature a 108-megapixel camera.

Besides this, recently, the Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India has confirmed that two Snapdragon 888 and 870 powered Mi flagships will be available in India.

It is expected that the upcoming Mi 10 series phone will equip an SD870 chip. Therefore, the three smartphones that the tipster is talking about could be SD888 powered Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, and the SD870 powered Mi 10 series phone.
