Xiaomi has begun sending a new MIUI 12.5 beta update in China. With version number 21.1.29, this new update installs the Google security patch for the month of January 2021. This helps in improving system security.
Moreover, the update adds a new feature in MIUI 12.5, you can switch between notifications and quick settings with one swipe.
The update is only suitable for Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi K30 Ultra, Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro smartphones in China.
