After sending the January 2021 Android security patch to Redmi Note 9S smartphones in Russia, Europe, and Globe, the company is now sending it in Turkey.
The update brings the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.3.0.QJWTRXM. And to experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 2.5GB on their smartphones.

Tha January 2021 Android security for Redmi Note 9S smartphones is now rolling out in Russia. This security patch increases the device’s system security to enhance users’ experience.
It comes with the Android 10 based MIUI 2 version V12.0.3.0.QJWRUXM. And, to install this update in Redmi Note 9S smartphones, users will have to download the package of 2.5GB.

The Chinese OEM is expanding the January 2021 Android security patch for Redmi Note 9S smartphones in Global markets by sending a new software update. This update comes with MIUI 12 version V12.0.3.0.QJWMIXM.

Xiaomi is currently working on providing Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 update for its several Redmi, Mi, Poco, and BlackShark device. In the meantime, the company is also sending monthly security updates to these devices.
Some Xiaomi devices such as Mi Play, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 9A/9AT, and Poco C3 has already received the January update. Meanwhile now, the Chinese OEM is sending this update to Redmi Note 9S smartphones.
About Device:
Earlier in 2020, Redmi Note 9S went official with 6.67 inches IPS LCD display, Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720G, and 5020 mAh battery that supports an 18W fast charge.
On the rear side, the device features a quad-camera setup which includes a 48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth camera. While on the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter.
Also, there are three variants of the smartphone in case of storage. The variants include 4GB of RAM in addition to 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM in addition to 128GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM in addition to 128GB of internal storage.
The Redmi Note 9 entered the smartphone market with Android 10 based MIUI 12, the device later received an Android 11 update but due to some issues, the Android 11 update has been rolled back.
