For being certified, every smartphone must match a certain set of requirements. The device should have met a minimum hardware specification, receive regular Android security updates after 90 days of release with up to 3 years of patches from Google, and other criteria.

The Xiaomi MI 10T Lite received AER certification for enterprises. This smartphone was launch in September 2020 and is now a part of the enterprise approved list from Google. It is the only second non-Android One device from the Chinese company to receive the AER certification, following the Redmi Note 9 Pro from last year.
