Later the last month, Xiaomi officially unveiled its MIUI 12.5. The new custom skin brings several new features, functions, changes, and improvements. The company is now sending a new MIUI 12.5 beta update in China which carries version 21.1.15.

Previously, the device received a 21.1.12 version, which brings Mi Yellow pages for caller ID, it identifies messages and calls from businesses. That update also improved application stability to enhance users’ experience.
While the latest update adds magic clone freeze-frame mode. Also, after the update, you will see that the brightness sliders appears now under the full-screen control center.

Note: The update is only rolling out for Redmi K20, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G smartphones.
Other than this, the update is expected to be released before 18:00 today and some models it has already been released. In this version, some models occasionally have inaccurate steps under certain circumstances but will be fixed in the next version.
Also, due to the upgrade of the Android version, Redmi Note 9 4G will start to release MIUI12.5 in mid-to-late January 2021.
