Back in 2018, Xiaomi launched Explorer Edition of Mi 8 smartphones. The device sports a 6.21-inch Super AMOLED display, two rear cameras of 12MP, 20MP selfie shooter, 3000mAh battery that supports 28W fast charge, and many more.
Also, the handsets equip Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 SoC. It came with Android 8 OS, later received an Android 10 based MIUI 12 update. Meanwhile now, the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is sending a new software update for this device.
This newest update comes with MIUI version V12.0.4.0.QEHCNXM and can be download in 3.0GB. As per the official changelog, the update adds a new function – you can now close the Control center by tapping at any blank spot. Currently, the update is only rolling out in China while it will be sent to other regions soon.
